KILLIEHUNTLY BOTHY: A cosy hideaway, perfect for a family or a couple. This small cottage spans a double room, a room with twin bunk beds, a bathroom and living & cooking space.
GEORDIE’S COTTAGE: A larger cottage with a wonderful view of the mountains and forest, Geordie’s has room for up to five adults staying in a double room, a twin room and a cosy single room.
Geordie’s Cottage
Geordie’s cottage is a cosy self-catered home for a family or group of pals. It is made up of one double room, one single room, and one twin room. The heart of the home is a living room with a log burning stove, casual seating and an old dinging table. Through this room, you have use of a fully equipped kitchen stocked with a few essentials to get you started.
Geordie’s cottage is a wonderful basecamp for wild adventures. It overlooks the Cairngorm National Park towards Kingussie, and sits at the heart of an extensive conservation area punctuated by ancient forests, rolling mountains and secluded lochs. It is a house with nature at its heart.
+ The Space
Geordie's Cottage includes a double and single room on the ground floor with a shared bathroom. The ground floor also hosts a dining and living space with a log stove, and a kitchen stocked with essentials. The cottage also includes a washer/dryer, toiletries, towels, a good suppy of fire wood and cleaning supplies.
The garden has a little patio area with outdoor seating and a BBQ grill for warmer days. The first floor includes a twin room and a seperate shower room.

Geordie's Cottage is offered on a self-catering basis only. That gives you the freedom to cook whatever you like during your stay, or contact a third party caterer if you wish. We have stocked the kitchen with some good staples, including salt & pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee, and milk.
+ Good to know
Our cottages are family-friendly, and we are happy to provide a cot and a high chair if you wish. Our cottages are also dog-friendly. We ask that you only bring a maximum of two dogs per cottage, and pay a small fee per dog.
You can use your cottage at any time after 4pm on the day of arrival. We ask that you depart by 10am on your final day.
This cottage is available for a minimum five night stay.
Killiehuntly Bothy
At the centre of the Killiehuntly courtyard is our little bothy. Best suited for a family, the bothy has a double room and a twin bunk-bed room, as well as cosy wee sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen.
Ajoining the bothy is a closed herb garden, and wonderful place to sit and watch the sun set over the mountains beyond. The bothy is a wonderfully simple space to base yourself as you explore the Highlands. After a day in the mountains, it is a comforting little haven to relax and recoup.
